Indians hammer it.
Check out the area around the Ford Road and Beeville Loop. Wouldn't hurt to stop by some of the places that own fields and talk to them about what they've seen in their fields or even to ask for permission. They usually see the elk but spook them out if they can while they're out during daylight so that the Indians don't see them. Usually game over for the bulls if they do.
Off the end of the Kelly Hall Road you can get up into the hills a bit. In the bottom there is a right that is usually gated that stays in the bottom. It can take you all the way to the roads that go up towards Camp Govey.
That's about the extent that I know. I know there are some big bulls up in the high country but there aren't that many elk and it can be hard to find them. If you find a good bull while scouting and it's being stupid hanging out in wide open clear cuts or something, do it and yourself a favor and keep it shoved in the brush. The Indians will kill it on sight.
Good luck!
