question about carrying gear when packing a tree stand

I have my new summit tree stand to use and I was wondering how you guys carry that and your gear in the woods?  I don't wan't to leave in the woods.  that is why I bought a climber.  I am thinking about a lumbar pack, just wanted to know what you all use.
