« on: June 29, 2011, 03:27:13 PM »
can anyone recommend a guide for the Sauk?  I'm headed over in August for a bachelor party and wanted to treat the groom.

I don't know any gear guides on the Sauk.

I've used Dickson, OK.  Recommend John's Guide Service out of Rockport.

In August your not going to want to fish the Sauk.  You will definetly want to be on the Skagit thou as thats were there will be fish or even the Cascade, but the skagit with a guide will be your best bet....  Call Cal Stocking Cause for Devorice Guide service 360-661-4849, Ill quarantee he puts you on fish in August!

I think he will, but the Sauk will be pretty empty and I dont think there will be a catch retention on the Sauk that time of year either which is probably not a big deal for a flyfisherman though...
