« on: July 02, 2011, 08:46:45 AM »
its was my birthday yesterday and my wife pick me up a new trail camera. i told her i had always wanted one, but that is as far as it went. i never did any research on them and i don't really know what is the best and/or the best bang for your buck. she doesn't know much about this kind of stuff. but she pick me up a wildgame innovations ir5d camera with 5 megapixils. she said she liked how it looked :chuckle:. did she do a good job? I'm heading out to set it up soon

Never used it myself.  Not sure I've even seen pictures taken by one.  You might set it up in the backyard and play with it a bit to make sure you get all the settings and buttons down before you go set it up.  Oh and post some pictures on here when you do, curious about the quality.

Welcome to the addiction. I'd do a thread search and look at some of the boxes made and some of the boxes purchased. It is bound to either be worked over by a bear or stolen at one point or another. I would take precautions against both. Have fun and don't forget to post pics.
