Still a lot of snow up there
« on: July 11, 2011, 10:49:26 AM »
After a trip to Alpine Lakes this weekend, I fiddled around with some black and white shots. Still a lot of snow below 6,000 feet.

Damn....I've been thinking about attempting scouting trip #2 to Little Naches this weekend and was kinda wondering about snow levels there.  First trip was June 24/25 and I was hoping that the past 3 wks might have made a dent in the snow level, but maybe not??  Anyone know?

Three frends and I are going up trail 1064 to Big Hart lake (around 5000ft) this friday and will be back out sunday. Do you think we will be camping in snow?

This will be are first time in the alpine lakes.

Thanks.
