Is it legal to carry a shotgun for turkey hunting while muzzleloading for deer?

I don't know about the legality of it, but I tend to lean to the conservative side.  I try to not put myself in situations that I may have to explain my actions.  Plus, how much would it suck to blast a turkey then watch that white flag of a monster whitey racing off to the next county.  You never know whats behind that bush over there.   :twocents:

I see no problem as long as the season is open where you're hunting and you have a valid tag, but you can always pose that to your regional WDFW office .... I know I have a shotgun with me during deer season on the "wetside" since grouse and rabbit is also open ...

I have never shot a turkey before and that would be my first opportunity to do so.
