yep. There was way to many dog fish in there yesterday. Even if my buddy hadn't forgot the herring.....

A guide I know said they were hammering the dogfish even on hoochies, crazy times....

Herring catch fish, but your line is not in the water so much of the time because of the dog fish that you cant keep off.  Terminal/artificial gear, needle fish hoochie skirts are the go to lure for the San Juans.
