I Hurd they give a combination for the gates if u draw?,,, anybody have any facts

  Yep ...my kid got one too ... they will be sending something to ya soon ... I think they are trying to actually have the gates open but patrolled ... last I heard ... wont take much efford if it was like last year ..they were everywhere...

That will be nice... I didn't draw my father did and he don't get around too well.. I hunt the cowerman every year archery do really well just not the quality of elk I like too see ya know... I will get my tag up north soon....

I drew the Jan 1-15 last year. The timber company put the combo lock on the day before it opened. Elk were in almost every clear cut. Had my cow in about 15 min. In the packet they send said you can only go in by yourself until you get one. I asked the Guy that was puting the lock on the gate if a friend could come in with me, and he said its just what the fish and game wanted and that the Timber company didnt care. Hope some of that helped.

Yes, that is true, but not for all gates.  They also seem to change it up each year.  (Which gates your combo will open).
