Big Hunting Washington favor to ask.  My middle son would like to get his first deer this year.  He has his one year exemption and has a tag already purchased.  The problem is, he is too small for my rifle.  He can't get close enough to the scope to effectively see through it.  We have tried many times since April.  He's shot about 50-70 rounds and has hit a killzone size target maybe 4 times.  With my .22, he is a dead eye so I know it's not him.  He simply cannot see through the scope.  I cannot afford a youth stock for it or an adult stock to cut down.

I am in need of a youth rifle to borrow.  Caliber does not really matter though .243 is preferred since I already have rounds for that.  I have no problem putting up collateral for you to hold while we borrow it.  We are planning on going to some private land for a guided hunt and would basically only have it for 3-5 days, enough to practice with it, go shoot the deer, and return it.  Anyone that can help out would get BIG kudos, and a backstrap to boot   If you can help, please PM me and let me know.

Looks like some guys are helping you out and that's great.  If you can't find one let me know my 7mm-08 might fit the bill.  Good luck on your hunt.

A 30.30 would probably be too big.

I have a Savage/Stevens 200.
