I think that they are spread out more than usual because of the wet spring.  Lots of water everywhere.  I am seeing deer in places I havent seen them before.   :twocents:

Thinking about heading out that way to look around.  Is it pretty much all private over there?

I was out that way a few weekends ago and saw a bunch of deer.  Most were does though. Probably over 150 deer and only about 10 bucks.  Of the 10 bucks only one was a 3 point (the rest were 2 points or spikes).  I'm not hunting there this year that's for sure.  I don't have any permission on private and the public lands get hit too hard during modern.   I know there are ALOT of deer there but from what I saw I was pretty disappointed.

I do a lot of work out there and seen some huge mulies in mid August but haven't seen much except for small bucks and a lot of does recently.  They are around though.
