Klickitat River luck?
« on: July 27, 2011, 09:54:03 PM »
Any one having any luck?  Saturday will be my third drift.  First two trips didnt bring any fish home.  Should start getting better with more fish coming over the dam.

 :yeah:

I also hear that most of the fish are nates.  Don't know if that makes a difference to you

Atleast it would be some action.  I am going again on Saturday so I hope with the increase of fish over the dam it will bring me some action.

Word is on the river that they have been keeping the new trap closed and not letting the fish through.  I didnt touch a fish all day and neither did anyone else I talked to.  I am going to look into this trap issue.  Talk about screwing up the natural way of doing things.  Not only that it sucks not catching fish.   :bash:

Best picture I got all day was my amazing wife and my dad.

Clarity was very good. It sucks now but hopefully will start clearing up. I hope to drift it Thursday too. I will try to post Wednesday night about how it looks and if fish have shown up. They won't come until the trap/ladder opens.

Well if I see you I'll wave, I'll be in the red, grey and black Hyde. I'll probably do Stinson to Ice House...

Looks like I won't be going tomorrow. Everyone backed out on me. As far as I know the river is back in shape. River is running 1470. Good luck tomorrow.

Its getting better.  They finally opened the trap.  Lots of wild fish but at least there is something to catch.
