this last few days before the season is killing me. ive seen the same bear a few times the last week or so out in sultan. now if i can get in there before everyone else opening day i sould have a good chance. but the last 2 days ive been scouting i have ran into multiple people scouting aswell.

I don't think the Blues open until September 1st.  The Northeast A units have to wait till then as well    Turns out the year I decide to really get into bear hunting and have a couple decent spots scouted out, I'll be in Alaska opening weekend.  Poor me

yeah it doesn't open till the 1st of september but it'll be here before I know it!

PathfinderJR is keyed up for bear hunting too.  Hoping to get his first one this year.  Been out at the range shooting his .308 weekly.  Weve seen a couple of smaller ones this summer.

Ya, I spent yesterday cleaning my guns for the heck of it...all I could do was think bout bear season...

What I love about it...its usually nice weather, you get to eat yummy berries while you hunt fresh off the vine, USUALLY not too many people around, oh...and you get to go after bear.

Looking forward to my first nap in the warm grass waiting for a bear to show up.

Anybody hunt bear by Entiat ? I'm gonna give it a whirl next tuesday. Is there any motels in Entiat ? Haven't hunted that area for years and years.
