Lake Roosevelt Help, Kettle Falls area
« on: July 28, 2011, 12:44:52 AM »
Hey all!

I am heading up to a buddies property on friday morning just south of Kettle Falls on the water. I don't know much about the fishing up there, just that the Smallmouth and Walleye fishing is pretty good. Any tips on what to use or area's to fish? I am not really familiar with the area so names would help so I could figure things out.. any help would be very greatly appreciated!!

thanks,

Jordan
Ozzie

Spokane Walleye Club is putting on a walleye tournament there this week end. Expect lots of company. They should have about 100 teams entered.

We fish from the bank at my buddy's cabin on the Spokane arm. We throw weightless night crawlers and slay smallies all day long. We hook some good walleyes every once in a while as well. Tried throwin' senkos, tubes, rapalas and spinners last summer and didnt catch a thing, switched to the worms and slayed 'em.  :dunno: Not sure if this helps for  around Kettle Falls or not but it might be worth a try.
