unit 460 report. plenty of action this morning
« on: August 01, 2011, 12:49:15 PM »
well i hunted unit 460 today. stayed low around the outskirts of fall city and biked in. i seen 5 bear this morning between the 7 spots i tried. the only clear shots i had were at mama's with cubs...so of course i did not take any shots. i did see one very nice bear around 250+ lbs and had him 30 yards but he just would not clear the brush. that i tell you was very intense waiting for him to come busting through, but never did

i called all the bear in with a primos elk call  its a lead cow/calf call and if you dont bite down on the mouth peice if makes a perfect distress call. and it worked wonders today
