Rossi Circuit Judge
« on: July 31, 2011, 07:05:19 PM »
Ok I have been thinking about this gun for over a year. I own a Judge and I think it would be great to have a rifle that shoots the same ammo. I looked back through the threads but did not see one on this topic. Sorry If I missed it.
Today I was in walmart with the wife and as always happen by the gun racks. There it was ,begging me to ask to pick it up, calling to me, I had to slap myself. I cannot get it out of my mind. I have read everything on the web about it. I have been staying away from Skagit Arms & Wholesale Outfitters because it will know I am there and call to me.  Am I sick?
Anyone here have one? Do you like it.
So what do you folks think? Talk me out of it.
I know I am going to have to have it.

I think it looks cool,  But it wouldn't be too useful for hunting in Washington,  for birds anyhow as it would be tough to make it incapable of holding more than 3 shells.  It would be a good rabbit blaster though and with the 45LC you could have a fun little short range deer round with some buffalo bore ammo.

Well I have been looking at video on it and it comes with plugs for cylinder.  But the game laws say a SHOTGUN ABLE TO HOLD MORE THAN 3 SHELLS.
So is it a rifle or a shotgun? If it is a rifle than the 3 shell requirement would not apply right?
You can shoot grouse with anything.

I really like the idea of the 22lr/22mag and the 44 mag one but I'm put off by my admittedly limited experience with Taurus revolvers, most of the new Taurus revolvers lockup seem to be sloppy as all hell right out of the box...Several of them have been so sloppy I wondered if they wouldn't clip jackets!
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

You should buy one so I can shoot it and decide if I like it enough to buy one too :)

I'm pretty sure they make a 2 shot plug for the gun.

I comes with a two shot plug. But does it fall in the 3 shot requirement for upland? Is it a rifle or a shotgun?
If it is a rifle you can use as many shell as you want? Grouse I guess it dosen't matter?
