Is it an odd year that still no velvet rubbed off yet?

From what I've been seeing on the West side, some are rubbing and some aren't yet. Don't worry, in a couple of weeks, they will all be hard horned.

I'd bet money that the first bull I pictured on here was rubbed by the next day.  He was starting to thrash a bit.  I was hoping for some rub photos, but he slipped into the deep.

No, I'll see big bulls in Velvet clear through labor day.

I saw two rosey bulls yesterday rubbing their horns on on some small trees...most of the velvet was gone.
