Yeah its a free country. That's no excuse to be a dumb fu__ and educate elk. Its no surprise he doesn't get anything. That's why 10 percent kill 90 percent of the elk because the other 90 percent are just wannabees. You want to know what is allot more impressive than calling in a elk before the season, killing them on a consistent bases do that then take pictures and brag all you want. ;)

It is a free country, however if you plan on HUNTING in that area DURING season, it is not a good idea.

I hate to say it, but I don't believe it. If you bugle once in a blue moon, it won't matter.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

:yeah:   I bugle from the house all the time and I always get a response from the guy down the road and vice versa.  Whenever I hear him bugling I go running to my garage for my bugle!  My wife thinks were idiots!  I've yet to actually meet the guy.  This has been going on for a few years now!

Now that's funny right there!  :chuckle:

My rooster goes crazy crowing whenever I am out back practicing cow calls, or heaven forbid I bugle.... he goes nuts.  So guess I know how to call in a Cuckoo Marans rooster now!

Green lantern, your post seems a bit harsh.  So a kid got a bit excited and called, big deal.  If he were out there every day then maybe, no I take that back too, your post is just rude.  don't be the internet tuff guy, give some advice and educate others, don't belittle them and call them names.

Maybe he's just speaking his mind out loud just like alot of other people do upon this site, he does have a point! No need to flame. He did provide some education, don't Call In Elk in your hunting Area before the season(education) right there. Besides I hear it all the time the bulls aren't bugling as much this year, they hang up and don't want to come in, they seem to be call shy, etc etc etc. Go ahead and call them in before the season maybe it will save a few bulls so they finally get some age to them and produce a more quality bull in the future, Bugle on Boys!

I have no problem with speaking your mind, but why resort to name calling?  Does it really accomplish anything?  Why not just offer the help and educate?
