Fished the Puyallup....Caught limit of Pinks in the last 3 days....2 hours of fishing with friends before going to work in the morning....yesterday was in the PM...it doesnt matter what gear you use, tons of fish in the river, I saw 4 kings landed. I am hoping to land a Hatchery King...I will keep you updated....If you love catching fish, go to the Puyallup. It is so much fun. Below are some of our pictures. Enjoy.

Fished the puyallup for the first time yesterday. I couldn't resist after my buddy hooked 24 and landed 8 in two hours. I fished from 6am to noon hooking 23 and landing 7. It was definitely worth the drive. Saw at least one fish on at all times up and down the river. I'm pretty sure I'll be back after that experience.

My son and I went out fishing yesterday after work. We caught our limit in less than two hours :IBCOOL:. He reeled in his first Salmon this year. It was quite a workout for my 5 year old but we had a great time together with pictures to remember it by. Take a child fishing, a quality time well spent you and your child can remember for the years to come. Greatest fisherman alive according to my son is his Dad...mission accomplish

River is like murky due to rain, it is high and has a strong current. Went fishing from 6-7 PM hooked a few today but did not land any. Thats okay because its going to be good tomorrow. 8)See you there. :)

went last night for about an hour and a half. caught one pink, saw one nice king and about 10,000 people.

HA HA! Thats funny! I was looking at the 2nd pic thinking DANG look at all the people! Seems strange the Puyallup is so full of fish and the Skagit and Sno are still slow - you'd think they'd kick off 1st?? I thought the fish came from up north and headed south? Guess not....

Thats sweet Big Mike! Glad you are doing well down there - that is SO COOL that you took your boy out and got him on the fish. He will remember that forever. I still remember fishing with my dad as a kid and getting some nice trout. Thanks for sharing the pics and hope you get into a FAT king you can keep!

Huge Pink! Nice! I had a blast this morning landing 3 pinks. I did not see any Kings landed today either. Lots of fishermen, lots of crossed lines, but a BLAST!

Hey BigMike, That sounds like a lot of fun! Work will keep me from fishing this week though. I would love to fish the river tomorrow. My Mother in-law prepared the ones I caught last Friday and they were very very good. If I get a chance to make a mad dash over next week, I will send you a PM! Good Luck tomorrow!

Dang that is a MONSTER pink! What do you think it weighed? 8 maybe 10#?? Isnt the state record pink like 14#? And if remember right it was an ugly ol thing with a huge hump - yours looks pretty nice, it has a little ridge going on but not much - that is a burly humpy right there!
