well i was trying o get my homebrew to work this season and all seemed fine and dandy except it wouldnt snap pictures. It will sense motion and the lens pops out but it never takes a picture and just goes back in till it senses motion again. I even tried a different power/ tigger assembly from a parts cam and still no luck. heres the specs
Sony w80, running a yeticam board. The last time i used it i forgot to put the water seal inside the case so it had some slight water build up around glass for the lens to poke through and only took about 5 pictures. I dried it out and never used it again till i tried to get it running yesterday? I havent changed any switch positions and it has new 9v for the board and a freshly charged battery for the camera w/ good empty memory card. I jumped the wires for the trigger and it snapped a picture. And even jumped them right from where they go onto the board so i know those are ok and wired in fine. Any help on this? Do i need a new board? am i over looking something stupid?
