Heading to Matheney to bear camp. going to hunt towards the Hoh this time. hopefuly more berry's ripe. will be nice to hear elk bugle and get out. Rick
nice being a callmaker made my self two call's for the trip. left is a elkhorn elk call. will be using it were i dont want to be loud. and the call on the right is my RR1 call big time Raspy wich i use here for bear. i'll call several bobcats and coyotes these next few days they also like the sound. thought i would share.

The huckleberries there seem to be 50/50 there. And some forest creature has been eating lots of them....and leaving plenty of piles behind. Not seeing too many salmonberries anymore.

I did some calling my self last weekend. Only got 2 coyotes to come in.
I only spent a couple hours (the wife's patients ran out).
