Heading to Matheney to bear camp. going to hunt towards the Hoh this time. hopefuly more berry's ripe. will be nice to hear elk bugle and get out.  Rick ;)

nice being a callmaker made my self two call's for the trip. left is a elkhorn elk call. will be using it were i dont want to be loud. and the call on the right is my RR1 call big time Raspy wich i use here for bear. i'll call several bobcats and coyotes these next few days they also like the sound. thought i would share.

The huckleberries there seem to be 50/50 there.  And some forest creature has been eating lots of them....and leaving plenty of piles behind.  Not seeing too many salmonberries anymore.

    I did some calling my self last weekend.  Only got 2 coyotes to come in. :bash:  I only spent a couple hours (the wife's patients ran out).

Looks like that bear was eating someones bird seed. Is that a popcorn kernal I see? Are you hunting outside a movie theater or something?
