Hello, im new here on the hunt wa forum. Im also new at hunting bears. I have scouted a few areas i want to hunt and i know to look for berries (this time of year), quiet, and water near. Does anyone have any other advice about bear hunting? Also i might have to bring a mountain bike to a few areas that dont allow motor vehicle.

Bring some binoculars, a good book, and patience.

I would spend some time just thumbing through the bear forum. You'll find a ton of info just by reading through.
