Bad Bull muzzleloaders
« on: August 26, 2011, 08:29:08 AM »
Watching a hunting show and they are using these. They were claiming you can shoot out to 500 yes with these ml.  Check out the link below, the testimonials have some guys taking shots I thought were unreal with a ml.  Probably not legal for wa.  Thought it was cool how far the technology has advanced.

It is human nature to make things better, faster, cheaper.  You still do not have to use it.

I have one of the savage 10ML muzzleloaders.. about 1.5" or better groups at 100, 300gr@2350. as you said, smokeless powder, non corrosive, clean it when i get around to it.. still dont think i'd shoot out past 200 with it though..its dropping an awful lot out there.. not legal in WA for muzz, but if I was going to gun hunt someplace like island Co. that has a 'no centerfire rifle' rule i'd use it.. but I've used it in OK, florida and MO for muzz seasons and it does just fine..

Whoa!  100-140 grs. of 4350, or up to 200 grs. of black powder.  Ouch! Masochistic hunting if you ask me.

I took a peek at their site, impressive, but lets be honest, they're just modified center fire rifles.  Seems pointless to me.

The prices are nuts for a muzzleloader.

I'd much rather have a Gunwerks muzzy. 600 yard gun. Not really a muzzleloader to me though.
