Atv?Because I do not see a road.

 

This  is why ATV's get a bad rap. No mention of the motorcycle doing the same. 

FYI, If its FS land, it is perfectly legal to ride off road as long as you do not cause unreasonable damage.
Personally, I am quite happy to keep mine ON the road. Sorry for the
