well me and my cuz got down into a creek bottom first thing this morining...heard a few branches cracking and so i cow called a little and thought they were moving towards us...well they must have seen us..wind was in our favor but it went all quiet...well we waited a half hour and then moved across the creek...did a few more calling sessions to no luck...so we decided to head back for the truck...we got down off the hill and across the creek to see fresh elk tracks right next to our boot tracks going the way we came in..
...we followed them but could never find them...gotta love elk hunting!
