After all the weight was measured it is offically my largest weighted bull.  I usually get about 300 to 320 lbs of boned out meat per small bull and 337 for my largest bull.  But this one topped them all by a few lbs.  346 lbs is what we got out of this bull.  The backstraps were almost 6 inches diameter at the thickest point of the strap.

six inch diameter straps :yike: awesome!

Nice bull! What GMU?

I would almost bet money he got it in 652.  I think I seen that bull a few weeks ago, but Im not positive.  Regardless, 652 is hard to hunt unless you can get access to lots of private land.

By the way beautiful bull and congrats!

The Lewis I had played four bulls.  The problem was the heat. Lots of bulls in that unit.

I would assume those were slugs you found in the quarters. Was this old boy hobbled?
Congrats on a dandy bull.
