Blacks creek western is the day pack i've been running for about 4 years. Love it. pockets are great while maintaining rifle and bow scabbards. Optics pockets and adjustable for different people tall to short.

I too like the Blacks Creek Western when I want a smaller pack that can also carry a fair amount of meat.  It's so comfortable and has such great support for my lower back I think I actually hunt harder when it's on.  After that first 50-60# load is at the truck I switch over to the Eberlestock for some serious meat packing on the second trip.

Not sure I'd chose it over the Eberle if I was planning on going 15 miles in somewhere.

The 2200 would be a great choice. I run the 2800 badlands for everything.
