Small snake. Big POISON
« on: September 17, 2011, 08:32:50 AM »
Puffadder bit my dog. Flattened his head with .22. Took my dog to the Vet and will see what happens in the next 24hrs. The dog is badly swollen right now.

They are very common here. I'm so glad he didn't enter the front door, walking around bare foot  in the house and all

When I was in Somalia in 1993, we had a Warrant Officer bitten on the thumb by a Pit Viper. His thumb swelled up to the size of a golf ball at the bite site. Then it was almost like it popped. He ended up with a crater in his thumb. Scary stuff.   :yike:

Man! Those are bad critters.  Hope you got the pup to the Vet soon enough.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
