My Boy and His Rossi
« on: September 19, 2011, 08:48:34 PM »
Well, lets see. I figured I could clean the garage or take the boy out to the range for his first time behind the trigger. Couldn't get changed out of my work clothes fast enough.

We got loaded up and headed out to the range.

My son Mark just turned 5 back in June. He has been around firearms and hunting, been out to the range with his little bow, and does love his venison. Just this weekend I introduced him to his first rifle. It is a little break open .22 Rossi.

Needless to say...he would pop 'em off as fast as I could feed him rounds. We talked about safety, proper handling, and range safety.

Here are a few pics from this evening.

Awesome.. was up in the hills this weekend.  Took the 5 yr. old nephew, let him shoot the .22 and the .410.  Was a great time...
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

He may have had a little help from dad in the form of a few fingers on the butt of the stock giving a little nudge in the right direction.

Good work on bringing him up right. He will become your greatest partner in the field.

Looking forward to a productive season. My young guns are anxious!
