Better change your handle from Timber-Hunter to Alpine-Hunter. Nice job.

Thanks Everyone!  It was a great hunt and ended up seeing 7 different bucks and one giant 4 point but could not close the distance on him.  I am not going to get him mounted, but I will put the antlers on a plaque.  It is very steep country and we wear crampons on our boots to help with traction.  We are in a couple hours to where we camp.  All in all I am very happy and ready for Montana in November!

Hunting with Dad in the mountains.  It doesn't get much more successful than that.   Way to beat the odds.

:yeah: Congrats on meat in the freezer and building more stories with your father! Love it!
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

Too cool. I get to duck hunt with my dad, but have never had the fortune to deer hunt with him.  Sure sounds like a lot of fun.  What a great pic for the wall

The pack was tough out.  My pack was 105 pounds and my dad's was 95 pounds.  The muscles were pretty sore the next few days!
