I guess it really depends on how you plan to hunt them.  I shoot a .22-250 but my best
yote was called and I shot him at about 40 yards with a .22 LR.  I used to hunt yotes
at night where shots were often over 200 yards.  If calling most of your shots will be
under 100 yards.  :twocents:

I'm going to try calling them here. its alot different here then it is in MO I'm used to hunting them over fresh cut hay fields and I'm kinda leery of calling because of the other predators
