Hows The Puyallup,,,
« on: September 23, 2011, 07:20:35 PM »
,,,Been lately?? I'm going to take my nephew down there in the morning for one last fishing trip, before he gets transferred to Germany for a few years.. He just got back from Sandland, and now he's off over seas.. The life of a solider..He should get his Lt. Col. while he's over there

We went over to 5 ST Bridge wednesday afternoon ,saw one of the guy walking off with 2 silvers 2 jack silvers and 2 pinks -good limit . We and about 15 other guys were fishing there for 3 hours evening ,but got a handful of pinks and one jack .But who knows maybe because they lifted the nets around lunch time (I think) .So give it a shot ...
Everyone thinks that I'm freak ,I don't look different do I ?

I fished at the 66 Ave. and banked three pinks.  I left at 9 AM to mow the lawn.

We brought home nothing..Had fun, and some good laughs about the other folks on the river..

We met another Cougar fan that was on his last day home with his family before he goes back to sand land for the rest of his deployment..They were having a tough time with snags, and not hitting anything, but trees and rocks..About the time they were leaving I hooked a humpy and hollered for his son to come give me a hand with it..Gave him my fishing rod, and I got the net..The look on this young boys face was priceless. Infact the whole family (mom, dad, little sisters) just stood there shocked that I would do that  :chuckle: We got her in the net, (a nice 6 pound hen). That young man was the man of the hour.. His first salmon, infact it was his first fish, and dad was there to see it before going back to war...Dad wanted to pay me for doing what I did, and thanking me for it,, I just told him "No, Thank -you and come back home safe,,you have someone thats hooked on fishing"..

Other than that,,we got skunked..
