heck.. I would take him.. with a knife at that range...   :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Seriously,, would love to get one that close for a handgun hunt someday...
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

I would not have had the guts to let it get that close before telling him "hi".  I've said "hi" to some bulls at 5-10 yards that were coming down the trail at me, but that one looked like he was about to step on you.

Thanks guys.  We actually worked about 8 bulls last evening, but this guy was very hot and came right in.  I was actually standing on the ground, he just had his head down as he came in.  I stopped him at 6 feet.  I think he would have tried to walk right past me if I hadn't stopped him and that could have gotten ugly if he tried to wheel around like he did right next to me.  It was a cool experience and we didn't blow him out, he kept bugling at us, so we are gonna try to kill him saturday morning, got two clients that might be interested in him. :IBCOOL:

Would have been so much cooler if he would have turned to you and in the same quiet, almost bored voice said "Hey human."

He's big enough for me!  If I can ever draw a tag again I'll consider your services.  Exciting when they come in like that, but unless the shooter is off to the side and you can get him to stop in the clear, getting him on film is all you get.
