Say, obviously you had some good luck, probably with hard effort.  How was the elk herd over there?  Dad just got back from a whitetail hunt in the Locksaw area and brought back nothing but bad news about wolves vs elk numbers. 

It'd be nice to hear if a hunter actually saw a good amount of elk for a change. 

And congrats on the bulls.

We hunted our butts off for 12 days and we were in elk every day but the 1st day. did see 2 wolfs, too far to shoot. not many deer.
