Late Buck
« on: March 23, 2007, 10:18:21 AM »
Thought I'd through up a picture of a buck I took out of the Chiwawa unit in 05'.  Weather was extremely uncooperable and ended up taken this guy on the last morning, the last hour before packin' it up.  Saw a couple of better bucks earlier in the hunt, but had the site set on a big ol' migratory.

I'd like to see some more late buck pics from you guys if you got em'.  Or any other deer pics for that matter.

Not sure what the mentality of this site is yet, but for the nay sayers.....I had orange on went I was hunting.  :tung:

Very nice buck!

I posted a late season whitetail in the gallery.  He was taken just when the rut started.  Shot him with my .06, but should have been using my bow as he was only about 19 yards when I took him.

and a couple more..........by the way, all are from eastern WA 06'.  Thats my wife Paula with her best buck yet!

The whitetail buck on his back was one tough puppy, he took 4 shots before he piled up like this in a small ravine.

That was nice of the whitetail to end up in a position ready to be field dressed.
