Not that I'm for ratting someone out here. But thats wrong, not to mention illegal. I would report him to the authorities.
People like this are part of the problem. And even if the guy didn't get arrested. I think a visit from the local PD, or game warden might shock him into playing nice, even if its only so he doesn't go to jail.

People like this give all of us a bad name. And make the hunting regulations more stringent every year.

I am for ratting someone out when they not only break the law but obviously have no ethics whatsoever. Call him in ASAP.

id turn him in if i knew his name if not id keep an eye out for him and when i saw him again id nonchalantly ask what his name was and shoot the breeze a bit just to alleve any suspisions as to why i asked his name, and when i saw him do something like this again id be on the phone with the game dept. this is the kind of crap that gives us all a bad name, idiots such as this need to find a new hobby.

yeah right,... he hit the first bear and saw a bigger one and decided to shoot again.
I agree, except I would find out his name, write his license plate number down, and call the cop immediately.  I mean you know where the bear is buried, you buried it. The cops at least would be wise to him, whom knows they might shake him up. set him straight.

Keep an eye out for him again, find out where he lives, dig up the bear, then dump it on his front lawn.  Oh, and call the local gamey about a wanton waste problem at his house.

Let the DEPT of fish and game know.
Let them deal with it. giving him the carcass would allow him the ability to destroy the evidence.
Its all hearsay, without proof. That carcass is the proof.

You are not "ratting out" anyone. Someone pulled a shatbag move and will likely do so again if not confronted. I could understand if he shot once and looked for a day and deemed it a miss, if he shot two......actions have consequences.
