Looking for predator hunting partner(s)
« on: October 10, 2011, 08:40:03 PM »
Hello all,
This is my first post here on this forum. Looks like a cool place. My regular hunting partner has a long term job out of state and most of my other buddies are not as into hunting as I am.  Most of my hunting is done between Cle Elum and Vantage. I live in Snohomish, so the wet side is a possibility too. Would like to stick reasonably close to HWY 2 and I-90. Not a deal breaker to do a little more driving occasionally. I own some property in Cle Elum and have access to some private land that surrounds it. I also know the public land in the area pretty well. When I'm not hunting I'm dirt bike riding and snowmobiling in the same spots.

I'm a novice hunter, but I've done pretty good after learning a few things. My biggest problem is coyote fever. My shooting goes down hill when my heart is trying to jump out of my chest! The only cure for that is more hunting as far as I can tell. I have all my own equipment and safe with firearms. Hunting experience doesn't matter to me as long as you are safe and follow the rules. Not interested if you don't.

I would also like to do some more night hunting once all the big game seasons are done. I have done a little, but not real comfortable doing it alone. Thanks for reading and happy hunting.

I live in Lacey, Washington and am looking at doing more predator hunting.  i just bought Remington VTR 700 in .308 and an Electric predator call Fox Pro with 50 sounds for the meat eaters.  I have a TW200 Yamaha Bike I like to ride and hunt and a Yamaha Warrior 4x4 quad.  If you would like to hook up sometime for coyote/bobcat/cougar/bear hunting let me know.  I would not even mind hunting in the snow for a change.  PM me if you are interested.  Thanks

Is that a pay site? When I tried to look at it it said I have to be a paid member. Are most of the guys down south? I am looking to stay a little closer to home. HWY9 HWY2 corridor would work.

Yes, it is a membership association.  The forum is both public and private.  The Predator section is for current association members only where we can trade info between us with our giving it to the general public. As for our location, we are scattered all over Washington.  Currently, the majority is on the west side close to the Olympia area with many also in the Seattle region.  The membership currently strands to be just below 100..

If I can be of help, drop me a note..

You guys that will start hunting coyotes, will need therapy. You'll give up your weekends to be at home. Do guy things with other guys. Tell more stories and lies to your wife, friends and family. You'll need an array of guns and ammo, calls, winter clothing, shooting sticks...........................you will not have any fun !!!! Please be warned about this addiction ...
