sioxon bull...i had a busy month
« on: October 13, 2011, 09:19:00 AM »
well this is how my august and sept. went helped plan my wedding well at least nodded my head and said that looks good while visions of elk bugling in my head...turned 48 on Sept 5 picked up my son from leave from the navy on the 9Th got married on the 10Th slept in on the 11Th got up the 12Th in the woods to elk scream in but the big boy took us on the walk about all day just couldn't get to turn but he never quit bugling or destroying trees all day.
So my son and i came in from a different direction the next day and wouldn't you know they were 50 yards off the road called the big bull within 50 yards but its pretty thick so my son dropped back to hook in front of the bull since i felt another walk about was coming ..so i just was going to walk up to the road ,i was just cow calling going through the alders then heard something walking on the road figured it was my son so i just cow called again looked up to see horns coming at me fast i was only 20 yards from the road here comes this bull .

Very nice bull...

and you got married during hunting season?????????   :bdid: :bdid:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Nice bull.  You may have tough years ahead with an anniversary during season :chuckle: :chuckle:

I feel for you getting married during hunting season.  I didn't get to hunt much this year either do to planning for my wedding on the 24th of September.  Congrats to you on getting married and a nice bull.  I hope your wife is as understanding as mine is about my hunting addiction.

Best wedding gift of all time!  Congrats on the marriage and nice bull.
Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.
