3 generation chukar
« on: October 10, 2011, 05:44:08 PM »
The kid and I drove 3 hours to hunt with my dad for a day in Eastern Wa.  Sometimes the hunt is a lot more about who you are with than the outcome.  I love seeing my dad and my son get to hunt together.  We got into a covey of huns, and a covey of chukar on Saturday.  My young dog did a great job for us and we put a couple birds in the bag. On a side note:  My son just turned 6 and got his own hunter orange vest for his birthday, he loves to carry the birds we get and this was his first chance to use his new vest.

Absolutely AWESOME! You are so right about the people you are with vs. the game you bag. I would encourage anyone to make that trip every chance you get, take the pictures and make sure your Dad, your boy, and you ALL get copies of the pictures from each hunt. Those memories will be priceless sooner than you think . That is what it is all about.

Get that photo into the POM contest.    LOTS of emotion with that one!   FUN TIMES.   Thankfully there are some good experiences still being had with all of the controversial ones as of late and poor hunting climate that we have been discussing.    That there is just what its about!
