Congratulations opening weekend waterfowlers.

 Was gonna reply to each individually but, thought I'd wrap it up with one post instead. Looks like a lot of action took place out there this opener....WOW.
 Had a soccer game to go to Saturday (oldest grand-daughters) and work on Sunday. I was able to get out in the am Saturday and shoot a honker with the new pup and shotgun. 200-250 geese had been flying over every morning between 7am and 8:30am but a heavy fog layed in there all morning and threw the timing off abit. Oh well, thats hunting. I usually don't get all ducky 'till around Thanksgiving but, I believe with this years duck forecast might ratchet it up a bit. I need a little bit more water on the property and it should be.................crazy out there!

I didn't know that you were aloud to shoot honkers after the september season. I was told you aren't aloud. Shows you how much I know  :chuckle:
