Northern Lights

A few shots I've taken of the Northern Lights since I've been up here.  The last couple days were pretty active.

Love that last pic. Looks to be a lot of snow up there still. Was that pic taken recently?
Just one more day

Very cool.  They were pretty intense a couple nights earlier this month when I was up there.  Awesome to see

No, that was last March.  We haven't gotten any snow in Anchorage, yet.  The snow level is creeping down the mountains and the temps are at freezing in the morning.

Those pics are great, yet still dont do the northern lights justice.  It is really something to see

That is very true.  Even the best photos don't compare to actually seeing them in person.

My buddy and i saw them about this time of year night fishing at vantage.  It was cool, didn't think you could see them in Washington.

I used to see them in New England at times in the summer. Man they are beautiful.
Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5
