Coyote hunting in Tiger Mountain?
« on: October 20, 2011, 12:00:21 PM »
Is their anywhere to hunt coyote in Tiger Mountain?  I know it used to be allowed, but with all the outlawing of shooting in areas im not sure and dont want to getin trouble by illegaly hunting.  Im pretty new to coyote hunting, and want to find a spot near my home.  Specific directions to an area would be appreciated.   Also, any areas nearby Tiger mountains would work as well.  Thank you for any information.

First off i would have to say that anywhere in that general area is likely to cause you some grief. I think the silent aproach, Bow, Crossbow or silencer, is the way to go lots of people get wigged out even tho THEY have no idea what they are worried about.  :twocents: Good luck.

Firearm restricted area...lots of hikers who don't care for hunters = my recommendation to find another area. ;)  Good luck tho.
Take up your bow, a quiver full of arrows, head out to the country and hunt some wild game.  GEN 27:3

One thing I do when I am looking to hunt an area here on the westside; In addition to looking at the WDFW regs, I look at the County maps for no hunting/no shooting areas, as well as any jurisdiction the area is also in i.e city/town. Make sure you check them both because the county may say something different from the city & vice versa. (local govt being screwed up? ... imagine that... no really, it happens)  :twocents:
