BLUEBULLS buck
«
on:
October 24, 2011, 06:32:12 PM »
Here is my 11' buck. I missed a great buck opening day and passed on some 3's with high hopes of finding the big one again in a little better situation but when this guy showed himself, I couldn't resist.
Nothing more satisfying than hauling them in pieces

Why do you have the hoof still on when you are packing it out?

cuz I'm tuffer than $%&!
just kidding. Usually I'd cut it off or if he was a little farther I would have boned him but the pack wasn't all that far and I had help. All four only equal a couple pounds total and they come in kinda handy when hanging, transporting, etc.
I don't bone them unless I have to, I like them to hang for a few days and you lose a little more meat when they're boned.

Nice! I hear you get your money's worth from those Kenetreks... You have a grueling pack out with that one?
