West side hunting spot for disabled hunter
« on: October 24, 2011, 06:44:08 PM »
Im a 28 year old quadriplegic. Got hurt 8 years ago and got back into hunting 7 years ago. I got hooked up with primo Muley huntin property in eastern washington and pretty much fill my tag every year. This season i havent had to funds to make the trip over the mountains. So ive been trying to find a spot over on the Olympic Peninsula to Blacktail hunt but havent seen a deer yet. Too many people driving round where i post up and hunt from my wheelchair since treking through the woods doesnt happen anymore. Does anyone know of any good blacktail areas over my way that might be somewhat wheelchair accessable? Its to late in the season to get help from WDFW. Any suggestions would be great.
Think huntin is hard? Try it from a wheelchair. Now thats love.

It is a draw area. I drew the tag last year. Very disappointed lots of logging activity going on and gate was left wide open.
