Anyone built any people proof boxes for there cameras?

I was wanting to have a couple steel boxes made with chains for my cameras to help people proof my cameras. I dont like the boxes they have for them. Just curiouse if anyone has made any for theres or have any ideas for making them better.

outfitter has some super tough boxesfor his cams... I believe they cost a penny or two but couldnt get in with bolt cutter and sledge hammer/  ask him about em

my luck I'd stop to take a big dump in the woods and I'd see a flash.  These trail cams everywhere.  Scary.

I'll gaurantee if I saw a flash while taking a dump in the sticks, I don't care how that camera is fastened, Im at least getting that memory card!! It would be alot wierder though if it was some REI droid who has mistaken you for sasquatch that took the picture though.

Never even thought of that bone, now everytime I am in the woods and need to drop a deuce I'll be checking every tree around. Better tell the wife to do the same.

scoyoc5 and I built some simple boxes more to keep them safe from the bears but also the slobs that think they found a free treasure.  They won't keep the determined thieves away but the casual passerby would have some trouble.  Mine is just a cover box that chains over the camera.

If I had it to do over I would make a lockable door to access the camera so I didn't have to unchain the box everytime I wanted to pull a card.  It only takes a few minutes but seems like a pain.  Of course they are definitely better than a lost camera.

I need a people proof box for one (when I get one).  I am tempted to get one just to catch my neighbor kids tearing down my Dino Rossi signs.

I'll dump the chalupa in front of a camera on purpose, corn studded load and all the trimmings.... Also, enjoy the pics as I bury my scat.... I cannot imagine anyone placing a camera where I hunt.... You guys need to get out further... atleast a few more hundred yards from the trail head parking lot...  Perv's!!!

Polarbear, you sure it isn't the parents tearing down your signs...? That would be a good photo to turn over to law enforcement...

Ice, I am sure that it is the parents but the kids are also little *censored*s and I wouldnt put it past them as well.  What they dont know is today I got a 4' x 8' Dino sign that I am planning on placing deep in the pasture, directly in front of their dining/living room windows, blocking their view of the mountain and where the cant jump the fence without getting torn up.  I also got a nice stack of smaller signs to do some more decorating if need be.  I'll catch em in the act one of these days and turn them in but the end of my driveway where this happens is 1000' away from the house.  I can easily see it during the day but it is too far at night.  Friggin Gregoire loving hippies!
