Yes. I had one with a rubber, no-slip handle and broke it like 20 years ago when I fell. 6 or 7 years ago, I found it in a box and sent it into Buck, and they sent me this one for free. They stand by their guarantee.

Wow...I still have one of those, it's probably 25 years old now. Can't say I still use it but have always liked having it :)
I purchased one of the Cutco hunting knives, very nice!

I just got done hunting in Idaho and my dad and I ran into a gal he knows from where his health care provider is. She happened to know Chuck Buck; the owner of Buck Knives. She called him up on the phone and got my dad and I a personal tour from him of the Buck Knives factory in Post Falls, Idaho. All I can say is that Mr. Buck is a stand-up guy. Very very friendly and personal. As we walked through the factory all the employees had smiles on their faces and he awknowledged every one of them. He is definitely the boss that everyone wants to have. He is very proud of his family's name and legacy so I can understand why he stands by their products. If you ever get a chance to go there they do three or four tours a day. Go into the giftshop and ask the clerk when their next tour is and one of the gals there at the desk will take you thru the factory.
