Idaho Buck

Idaho high country buck. Great hunt...lot's of deer, moose, elk, bear, cougar tracks, red fox, and fun.
I shot this buck just before dark. He was 2 hours from camp (like always...down deep in the draws and canyons). I got him gutted, quartered, and hanging in the dark. I took the head, backstrap, loins, and heart back to camp that night, and retrieved the rest of the boned out meat the next morning. When we cooked up the heart, it had a perfect hole right through the middle of the steaks!
Great hunt, with great family and friends!
Yes! I'm long arm'n it...
