First soak for first time trail cam user.... This is fun!
« on: November 28, 2011, 10:23:05 AM »
I bought my first trail camera about a month ago.  I wanted to find a good spot to set it up in a unit that is open for late archery.  It took me a while, but I found a spot while taking a couple friends out for extended rifle season.

I picked up the camera after soaking for only 5 days because I forgot my memory card when I set it up, and  I knew it could only hold 24 pics.  When I picked it up I saw all 24 pics were taken, and I was excided.  When I got home and plugged it into my TV I didnt see anything in the pics.  I thought I had the sensitivity turned up too high and it was taking pictures of brush in the wind.

However, I just hooked the camera to the computer to delete the photos, and noticed there was at least a part of a deer in almost all of them.  I set the camera up at 11am and all the pics were full by 8:30 pm the same day... I need to get it back up there!!!!
