Saw everything but a buck

I guess I get tag soup for the season.  Last day of hunting and I saw 13 wild horses, 8 does, 2 fawns, and a herd of elk...... but not a single buck.  I was on the trail of a buck that was following a doe but when the trail started working its way into some beaver ponds I decided that I didn't want to go wading in the 28 degree weather.
