[Well if it was small it wasnt carrying anything. And if it was moving fast it may have been going from point A to B. Y
ou know as helicopter pilots we do like to fly low and fast. Well except Kiowas because they can't fly fast :chuckle:
[/quote]

haha If it was going from A. to B. then B. must not of been a known point AND the pilot must of thought it was easier to fly sideways in and out of the trees. Civilian (non-military) bird for sure.

I doubt it was flying sideways in and out of trees very fast.  You can either fly fast or fly in and out of trees but you can't do both.  Well not for very long anyways.   :chuckle:  If they were flying sideways and in and out of trees I suspect they were surveying something.  If this was in the Cowiche they could have been looking for stray cattle.

I'm just saying just because people see a helicopter flying low and doing stuff like this doesn't mean they are planting wolves or chasing elk.

The kiowas can't fly low either. Well the aircraft is capable, the pilots have a strange fascination with wires and hitting the earth though.

That is so wrong.  But funny.  Wish there was a Kiowa guy on this site.   :chuckle:
